Halloween is over.
we had so much fun taking Oliver trick or treating last night! it was his first time and he acted like a pro after the first house! every time he saw a house with a light on, he would say house? house? he couldn't quite say "Trick or Treat"...but he totally got the concept of putting his pumpkin bucket out for a treat or grabbing the candy from the person's bin. it was pretty magical to see him enjoy a holiday that b and i have loved and to finally experience it with our little one!
so today marks the first day of November. to me, it is the perfect time to start making comfort food (white chicken chili anyone?), pull out the warm blankets and slippers, make my favorite warm drinks and to start pondering craft ideas for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
