{my friend rachel and i have been talking about our yards lately and how we both need to get rid of some of the things the late owners did before us...well after talking about this...i thought i'd share with you all before and after pictures of the front of our house...now the after is not complete in any way...the project is still ongoing after five years of living here...but as you can see...anything is better then before...}

LOVE what you guys have done... i "was with you" last year when you guys did the woodwork & painting! i think it was my first comment was during that phase! :) and yeah ... that "island" - terribly random. i really think the "randomness" is just a part of buying a 50+ year old house. WAY TOO MANY COOKS {and trends} IN THE KITCHEN. and only one cook stays to clean up the mess. :)
i only blogged about the ivy ... but i'll be doing much more!!!!! :) can't wait to see your backyard!!!!
