*weekend bliss*

{we had a ton of activities that were on the agenda this weekend...and we did all of them...plus a little more. we went to the birthday party....we painted the hallway (more on that...hopefully next week..)...we celebrated noah's 11th birthday with some "pup cups" from our local grocery store...they (noah and arden) loved them! we went to the Virginia Highland Summerfest....two words...hot...and crowded...you can get an idea of how crowded this festival can be...here. by the time we left the summerfest...we were pretty overheated...and ready for some cool air...and good food. b suggested we go to this new restaurant called Farm Burger ...so off we went.}
{if you are familiar with Decatur...then you will know where the Watershed restaurant is...well...the new Farm Burger is in the same parking lot. i am in love with the concept of this new restaurant...the meat that is used for the burgers is all from grassfed cows that are raised in the southeast. they are not given any hormones or fed any grain/corn...they are actually raised on a farm...so the meat is so much more healthier for you then a fast food burger...or a typical chain restaurant burger that uses corn fed meat.
you can read all about their story and more...}

{after we placed our order...we went and sat at one of the window bars...facing the dancing goats coffee shop (another great decatur place to visit!)...it did not take long for our food to arrive..and when it did...
oh boy...}

{it all looked so very yummy...b got a regular burger and we shared a bucket of the sweet potato fries...}

{i got a quinoa burger...and....it was the best "burger" i had had in a long time...i'm not joking. it was soooo very good...it makes my stomach growl thinking about it.  b felt the same way with his real burger....after we savored every bit of our meal...we both agreed that we'd be making this a regular stop!}

{hope you all had a great weekend!}

Definitely an awesome place!!! If you are in the Atlanta/Decatur area, you should stop by there and get a burger!!

I am jealous :) Sounds like such a nice weekend.

I love the place we call home, but it would be so nice to have access to special places in a larger city.
