Congratulations, Dana!!

Well....since you show and sell your creations at the BEEHIVE, why not create just that...a bumblebee shirt!

I'm suggesting this one because it was kinda the inspiration for my daughter's room (due July 29th - hint hint it sure would be nice to win haha).

I think you should do a silhouette - like one of the old vintage silhouettes. Either a cute pony tail girl silhouette, or one that has kids playing or something. I keep seeing them pop up in decorating magazines everywhere...

Oh such cute tees! Humm.....I'm not good at the idea stuff but maybe a rocker tee. I think those are so cute on babies.

Yay for 100 sales! How about a "Sweet" apple applique? You could do it with a worm or without; whatever you think looks better.

You could also do a flamingo or a giraffe....perhaps where the body is offset and the head curls across? A giraffe could work for boys or girls...

::shrug:: I'm so not creative like that! :)

Such cute things! I'm from Nashville so I think a guitar would be a cute addition!

UB said...

UB suggested a poodle applique!! Curlie-q hair etc. etc. Lots of colors to choose from!

Yeah! Who would have ever thought those little shorts you made for Bug would have led to all of this?

So I would suggest a bug of some sort in honor of V Bug.
Perhaps a beetle, lady bug, dragon fly, firefly

or how about a cup of green tea latte on an adult T for her mama?

Hi Dana!

Can't wait to receive the Robot tee!

My husband is a HUGE comic book geek so my kids love the superheroes!!
I think my daughter likes them more than my son :)

I haven't been able to find a tee that has a superhero theme but is also unique. Also hard to find one for girls!

2.juice box tee...kids love juice boxes

3. dragon tee
4. catepillar tee...one with bright cheery colors...

How fun! My email address is tealesdigidesigns{at}gmail{dot}com. I love your designs, it's so hard to come up with ideas... how about:

1. a funky ladybug
2. a chicken/rooster or baby chick
3. a VW bug
4. a cupcake (with candles for the birthday year #)
5. a snake (maybe wrapping around the shirt)

Those are just a few...

CONGRATS DANA! i celebrated with you by looking to see your 1st sales! so fun to see! i first came across your shop & blog around september '07, so the banana bike looked familiar! :)

okay, you know i love brainstorming! by the way you have some wonderful ideas already listed by your fans! :) okay, here are mine.

•glass of milk & a cookie.

•a cottage / play house

•a big rose layered with red & pink

•popcorn w/ a red & white container

•ice cream truck [SUMMER!] would be cute for boy or girl!

•another summer theme... a basket with vegetables peeking out of it.

•3-5 crayons ... and choose 1 or 2 to do a "doodle" in that color (don't know if this is possible)

•i'm on a puzzle kick :) but maybe if you had some fabric with a scene on it... cut it up into 4-6 puzzle pieces & sew them on helter-skelter. would give people something to do. :) ha

congrats, dana! :)

Congrats D!!!!
100 sales is definitely something to be proud of.
How about a helicopter or maybe a frog design?

SoBella Creations said...

congrats on 100 sales!

You could make an owl applique.

A flower would also be cute as a applique. Esp if the petals were different colors or patterns.

My oldest daughter loves giraffes.

congrats on hitting 100!!!

1) a tennis shoe in funky fabrics (laces would be cool)

2) sunglasses

3) wagon

4) a kite (i know, march is over)

5) haven't seen any cute fish

6) a pacifier

7) a purse

8) hot air balloon

9) a hot dog

10) roller skates

just some ideas....also, i would think that you would need an easily recognizable silhouette so maybe google clip art silhouettes & see if any thing strikes you.

you are so talented & smart, i'm sure whatever you come up with next will be fab....so we'll continue to stop by & look.

also....still looking for that adorable pirate ship to pop up on your etsy website!!!!

I was totally going to say a hot air balloon! Or an ice cream cone!

But I definitely think a koala would be brilliant.

I am due for a plum tree shopping spree soon. :)

Congrats Dana!! After spending the afternoon yesterday with the girls looking at puppies at the pet shop-how about a puppy!!??
You could name it after your two special pets.

Very cute stuff! Congrats on 100 sales! I love the appliques. I bought my daughter one for her 2nd bday. I think you should do number appliques for children's ages.

Sarah said...

Another idea! How about a horseshoe? For some, it would mean luck, for others, cowboy stuff, for us, GO COLTS!
:)

I just stumbled upon your esty shop (by searching "baby circus" and saw your brown onesie with the polka dot elephant) and was so in love with all you had made that I had to check out your blog!! Now I see your are doing a give away..what good fortune to have found you!! So my idea for you was just that...a fourtune cookie with a scripted fortune peaking out. Have fun doing your give away. I'd be honored to win, your crafts are so cute! Jori

Congratulations on reaching 100 -- although I am not surprised since your stuff is so cute. All of these ideas the people have left are great.

In my search for a cute no peanuts tee for my 2 year old, I have come across nothing attractive. My idea is to have a peanut wagging its finger like it is saying no with the words No No above the peanut. The peanut can be wearing a skirt that is fabric separate from the peanut. ha ha -- it can have a Marilyn Monroe vibe. That might be too weird. Maybe you can have a peanut sitting on a bench (or lying on a bench with one leg crossed over the other) behind bars in jail with the saying, "Just say no to peanuts." Or you can have lots of different fruits and veggie appliques on a shirt with a saying above--nut free zone.

Those are all of my no peanut ideas!

I've been eyeing your robot tee for a long time. I think my son would love it. Here are a few suggestions for more toddler boy shirts:

a motorcycle, any type of ball (my son is obsessed with basketball), a flag, a giraffe, a spider, a fish, or name appliques.
