*cooking with Jacques*

{so today was a real highlight for the month of october! the company i work for, bulthaup (www.bulthaup.com), was conducting a food demonstration in our showroom during the midtown harvest event that took place right outside our doors. my husband and i got to work side by side with a famous chef named Jacques Haeringer. he is from the d.c. area and has a restaurant named L'Auberge Chez Fracois, if you have not been there...his food is devine! he also has a tv show on pbs and will have another on one of our favorite channels...the history channel. we had an awesome time watching him and being his assistants during the demonstrations. he was such a wonderful person, he gave us one of his cookbooks (The Chez Francois Cookbook) in which he wrote a little note. thanks Jacques and we can't forget Carol...she was so awesome. the best part of it all is that we came home with some very yummy food for tomorrow!}
