*bambi bag*

{i was asked by my friend in nashville to make her daughter a pencil pouch. her daughter is starting kindergarten this fall and her school requires her to have a 10 x 7 pencil pouch...after doing some shopping...my friend noticed the selection of pencil pouches were nothing but dull and boring. so i picked up this japanese bambi fabric the other day and used it on the outer part of the bag...i loved the green in the fabric so much that i decided to add a grass green zipper...}

{and then on the inside...i wanted to girlie it up a bit...so i used this adorable white and pink cotton check fabric...it's so cheerful and far from bland..

i'm excited to see what she thinks about it...}
