{here is some new storage we got over the weekend...there will be two on this wall. we've been working away on the living room and it's getting so close. we are contemplating the tv wall right now. we still need to hang pictures, add lights to these beautiful white cabinets, stock them full with books and nick knacks and of course accessorize!} {OH! i picked out these panels for the living room...got them today....knew i wouldn't really care for the fringe...easy fix...BUT they are burlap and they have the worst smell! they smell like strong wd40! i'm not really sure how the heck to get the smell out of them! any thoughts or experience with this? eek!}

those shelves are GORGEOUS, dana! wow! i know you'll have a blast accessorizing them!!!!! love them!
as for the burlap... bummer they're dry clean only. um... well, i'm SURE the smell is just the factory smell & it'll go away within the next couple of weeks. try airing them out on the deck for a day? linen spray? i'm sure there's a google search out there with answers! :P yuck ...

I used burlap to cover my bulletin boards years ago....the smell WAS bad. I don't remember smelling it after a while, but I wonder if you could use UB's suggestion to remove odors EVERYWHERE...Febreze!! LOL
the lights in those cabinets are going to really show off your items on the shelves, can't wait to see your new TV stand, and those burlap curtains..keep up the good work
