{what a weekend...rain all day saturday and then beautiful weather on sunday. it gave me time to take pictures of one of my favorite shurbs that's blooming in the backyard!}

{after looking it over..i noticed these four solid purple blooms in the middle of the shrub. i wish we had more of this type of azaleas in our backyard...might have to get some this spring!}

You can grow the best flowers down there! My azalea plant died over the winter :(
so pretty! the light pink look like orchids! we have the hot reddish pink azaleas ... love 'em. ours are TINYYYYY [planted 3 years ago, but still TINY], but i still clip them to put a few branches in a vase.
