*The Beehive in Atlanta*

{on saturday, b and i went to the soft opening of The Beehive. (in case you don't know what a soft opening is...it means a new business is open...but they may still be in the process of setting things up..ie: window displays...signage...etc.). The Beehive was open for business and i was able to witness some customers coming into the store for the first time. what a cool sight that was and what an awesome store this is going to be. not only did the new owners bring back a lot of the "old" Beehive vendors (including myself)...but they also brought on board some new vendors! i was so excited to learn that a designer i have been admiring was going to be apart of the co-op. i was so lucky to actually meet the designer and her beautiful daughter on friday while setting up. the designer was katie from blue eyed freckle. i got to talk to her for a bit and then of course i got to see what she brought for her booth...um...i was drooling over each headband she pulled out of her bag...it was a little embarrassing. i mean this girl has some talent and her color choices are spot on...you can see some of her creations above. i'm going to have to get one of those felt feather fascinator headbands when i go in next...i mean come on...look at the colors? how could you pass one of those up?}

{another new vendor that i was so excited about was my hilarious (seriously...she makes me crack up every time we are around each other) craft show friend katherine smith. we've been talking about her joining for quite some time and she finally took the plunge! her jewelry line, katherine smith jewelry, is so unique and the thing i love about it is a lot of the pieces are one of a kind. you can see some more of her beautiful work here..oh and later i'll show you a necklace that i'm eyeing!}

{sweet olive baby is yet another new designer. i haven't been able to meet her yet but i'm eager to talk to her about her products. she has this chest rub for little ones that smells devine. you can see more here...}

{then there was our...plum tree booth. each time i see it...i'm always tweaking it...but i'll show you some pictures of how it looks right now...}
{it's stocked with one-pieces, long and short sleeved tees, bibs for both boys and girls and our button ties in singles and pairs. the booths are moveable...so the store can easily be changed around. i love this feature. they also have some storage added to each large booth (the drawers...which is such a bonus). i took some pictures of my neighbors as well as some other vendors that i'll show you later...this post is already getting too long! hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!}

{a little info about the new Beehive...it used to be on Peachtree Street...this location is now closed. It's now located at 1250 Caroline Street, Suite c-120 in Atlanta, GA. The shop is located in the Edgewood Shopping Center just south of Little Five. They will be open M-Sun from 10-6 but they might be tweaking their hours based on the other surrounding stores. The Beehive Co-op site is still getting updated with new information but you can check it out here.}
