*a new entrance*

{the front door renovation is underway! today, walter removed all the aluminum that had been concealing all the old wooden mill work. i was surprised to see that there used to be a scalloped molding above the door at one time....i'm not sure why anyone would have taken that wonderful cottage detail down....who knows...what i do know is that this area is going to get a nice face lift that will bring back the cottage appeal! i'll post some pictures tomorrow of some houses around our neighborhood that has details we are trying to capture in this area...}
