{let's talk cribs....for the longest time i have loved the jenny lind crib...so when b and i started talking about children...i told him that the one thing i really wanted to get for our little one was a jenny lind crib. to make sure that was still the case now...we looked at other crib designs...we went to stores...checked online...but after looking at the other options...we both agreed the jenny lind crib was the perfect one for us...}
{we haven't purchased the crib yet...but we do plan on getting the crib in the next couple months. the only thing we have to decide on now is if we want it in the classic white...or painted some wonderful color....}{sorry...i don't remember the sources for the pictures above. these have been in my favorites for some time....}

Yes D, it is a tough choice, I know the white will look really good in the room with all of the white trim/doors/curtains, but a colorful crib may be better! B.
I adore the yellow. I have seen some [white ones] at consignment sales - wish I would have thought about painting one before Mr.C came along.

our crib was heinous. :P it was sort of forced on us ... and i made kyle promise me that if we took it, we'd get a new crib for the 2nd child. in other words i didn't want it to be our "forever crib". well guess what. it was. :P yuck. it was ugly. but we just sold it on craiglist this summer for the same amount we paid for it. :) ha
We considered that one too - so classic and pretty. Didn't end up with that one though - we got one that transforms into a double bed.
