*weekend's laundry list*

{do you typically go into the weekend with a list of things you want/need to do? we almost always make a mental list but don't always succeed at crossing items off that list. on that "list" of things we must do..trimming our crepe myrtles. ugh. we try to do this every year so that in the summer, the myrtles look like this picture above or something like it. it's a pretty big task since we have four mature trees. i really don't look forward to it but at least weather is supposed to be um...spectacular. so i'm game. i'm also thinking we should check out a antique/junk store that b and i have driven by numerous times in the past year. i'm excited just thinking about the possibiity of a hidden treasure....eek.}

{have a great weekend!}

I must admit - I've never heard of a crepe myrtle - but they look so pretty!
We have a nice long weekend in Canada this weekend - it's Family Day on Monday, so we will be spending time together!
