*adding cheer*

{when we got our Christmas decorations down over the weekend, we decided to decorate Oliver's room too. even though he's not here to enjoy it, it's still so nice to walk by his room and
see some Christmas cheer.}
{the moment i saw this book, i wanted it. we bought it earlier this year and i'm so glad i remembered it when we were decorating. i can't wait to read it to Oliver next year.
it's such a sweet story.}
{what kid wouldn't want a tree in their room? i know me and b both said we never had one and would have wanted one...so we got one for Oliver. b fluffed the mini tree while he was putting our living room tree up. i felt it was a little sad to put an empty tree in Ollie's room so i rounded up some of our old ornaments and a few tin ones i've been keeping for Oliver's room. then i remembered the three stuffed ornaments we bought him last year....it's still a little sad looking with no lights and few ornaments...but i have some ideas up my sleeve. i'll show you in a little bit. do you decorate your child's room for Christmas?}

oh my goodness gracious everything is SOOO CUTE!!!! love the framed pic of him!!!!! :) and yes - we decorate our kids' rooms! i think it's such a magical time for KIDS especially, i like the idea of them waking up & feeling that magic instantly every day. both the boys & libby have a mini tree in their room AND a set of christmas lights [which works well as a nightlight during the holiday season]! :) so glad you added some christmas cheer to oliver's room! xo
