*Oliver's day*

our practice run of blowing the candle out..

On Saturday, we celebrated Oliver's 2nd birthday (first one being home). we asked friends and family to come over to our house in the afternoon (after nap of course) to celebrate with us.
it was perfect. the weather was amazing, we couldn't have asked for a better day. it was in the mid 80's, partly cloudy with a slight breeze. most of the party was held outside on our back deck/back yard. we had milk boxes, water, homemade fruit tea, a large snack table and tons of sweets set up for all of the guests.
our sweet friends from Nashville came to celebrate the day with us. Julie took these amazing pictures and helped me with some set up prior to the start of the party. her husband, Cory and her two beautiful daughters watched over the guests and of course kept their eye on our little guy. the birthday boy was in heaven! he had all his buddies there, a bouncy house, a fun motorized jeep and tin buckets filled with ice water to play with. i don't think he rested for one second! :)
it was such a special day and we were so happy with how everything came together!
thank you to all those who helped make Oliver's birthday so incredibly special!!

i will post sources tomorrow! :)

What an AWESOME birthday party for Oliver it was!!! It was great seeing all our friends, the kids having fun, and having all our party planning come to life. Plus, an extra thank you to my parents and the Morgans for all their help too! b.
