*party sources*

i had the best time looking for items to use at Oliver's party. there are party stores around here but honestly they just didn't have what i was looking for so i ended up getting a lot of things online. i found some wonderful sources that i hope to use in the future and if i mentioned them...i would highly recommend them to you as well. :)

let me know if there isn't something mentioned that you'd like a source to.

swirly pops in blue: Oh Nuts!

container for swirly pops: Ikea

kraft paper filler for swirly pop container: Michaels

custom blue and green cake pops in 4 A-mazing flavors.
(these were a huge hit and i hope to use her again soon!
she even delivered these the day of the party!):

blue berry baskets: Sweet Lulu

vending machine capsules in blue: Sweet Lulu

jelly beans: Greenes Fine Foods

wooden bus, truck and (top of cake) car: Green Bean Toys

cake:
this was created locally...as yummy as it was...i was disappointed in how the decoration was created.  i actually was asked by many guests if i made it myself which i think i could have.
i think that explains why i was annoyed with this specific baker. Oh well.

custom cake banner (will be used for other future birthdays!): Ready Go

#2 cookies in blue and green:
(very sweet to work with and the cookies arrived two days before
the party so that they were nice and fresh!)

stripe cookie plate: Target

i created a display of pictures that showed the last two years of Oliver's life by printing out 4 x 6 photos and taping thread to the back of each picture. i then arranged them over the dining room aka: snack table in staggered heights. i loved this project and Oliver has loved looking at all the photos of himself. :)

36" balloons: Sweet Lulu

Kraft paper table cloth: Michaels

Tin Utensil/Napkin holder: Target

Striped Napkins: Target

blue and green recyclable plates: Party City

blue, green and kraft paper circle garland:
homemade using my sewing machine...but you can always purchase something like this on etsy.

happy birthday banner (was equally spaced at beginning of party):
homemade...another item if you are not crafty that can be purchased from etsy. this was my first banner. the letters as you can see...the wind pushed them around. ;)

canopy over our pergola (to provide shade for guests): Home Depot painting drop cloth
(looks like linen!)

this isn't actually a great shot of the drink table but i wanted to share where i got some things...

striped drink straws: Sweet Lulu

blue cups: Party City

Sun Tea Holder: Target

White Cake Stand (Tea is sitting on): Marshalls

Green dish to contain drips from Tea: Marshalls

Oh and here is a fun before and after shot of the drink table i shared with friends on instagram...

I used a spray paint call Lagoon. i love how it turned out!

Everything was so lovely! It was such a wonderful party for such a sweet little boy. :o) We were so glad to celebrate with you all--thank you!

BTW, I think it is a compliment when folks ask you if you made the cake--especially someone as talented and creative as you. :o) Great party!
