i am a gal who can only wear stud earrings. why you ask...well i have one ear where the hole is too close to the bottom of my lobe. wearing any sort of dangle type earring makes that particular ear look very..uh...weird. so when i find stud earrings that i like..i get pretty excited. i like for mine to have some color and a little shape...but not too cutesy as if i raided my little niece's jewelry box and not too boring to the point where you don't even notice them.
